C Mike Napoli (shoulder irritation) concluded his minor league injury-rehabilitation assignment with Class-A Rancho Cucamonga by going 3-for-4 with two doubles Wednesday night. Napoli was 8-for-14 with three doubles and a home run in five rehab games. He will rejoin the Angels and be activated from the DL before Friday's game against the New York Yankees.

C Mike Napoli (shoulder irritation) continued his injury-rehabilitation assignment with Class A Rancho Cucamonga by going 1-for-4 with a double and catching all nine innings. Napoli is 5-for-10 in four rehab games for the Quakes, three at catcher and one at DH. The Quakes priced tickets for Tuesday's game at $5.40 -- in honor of last week's 5.4 earthquake in Southern California.

C Mike Napoli (shoulder irritation) rejoined the Angels for the day Monday with Class-A Rancho Cucamonga off. Napoli was 2-for-2 with a home run for Rancho Cucamonga Sunday in the third game of his minor-league injury-rehabilitation assignment. He is expected to play another two or three games on his rehab before coming off the DL.

C Mike Napoli (shoulder irritation) went through a full workout before Monday's game, extending his long-toss throwing to 170 feet and also making a few throws to second base from the catching position. He will repeat the workout at least once more but could start a minor-league injury-rehabilitation assignment this weekend (most likely with Class A Rancho Cucamonga).
