J.J. Hardy - SS -
Milwaukee Brewers
SS J.J. Hardy was back in the lineup Friday after being given a day off Thursday by manager Ned Yost.
Hardy already has suffered through hitting droughts of 0-for-28 and 0-for-20 in the second half and Yost said he plans to give him time off on occasion to prevent the 6-2, 190-pound infielder from wearing out.
"His body type is more lean and very skinny," said Yost. "He's a strong guy but still you have to continue to give him days off once in a while."
